Philips is set to grow its premium Fidelio lineup with two new products: the FA7 Hi-Fi micro system and the L5 wireless on-ear headphones, both due to arrive in Q4 2026.
Philips Fidelio FA7: A Full-Featured Micro System
The Fidelio FA7 is a two-piece desktop micro system comprising a main unit and a dedicated speaker pair. The main unit sports a digital display alongside volume and playback controls, and includes a built-in equaliser. Total output power stands at 120 watts, delivered through speakers each fitted with a 12.7 cm glass fibre cone woofer and a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter.

Connectivity is comprehensive. The FA7 supports Wi-Fi with Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect, alongside Bluetooth, FM, DAB+, and internet radio. A built-in CD drive, USB-A port for external media, and a front-facing 3.5 mm headphone jack round out the feature set.
The FA7 will be priced at €600 in Europe.

Philips Fidelio L5: High-Resolution Wireless Headphones
The Fidelio L5 headphones are built around 36 mm drivers and support Bluetooth with LDAC, capable of transmitting audio at up to 32-bit/96 kHz and a bit rate of up to 990 kbps. For wired listening, both a 3.5 mm jack and USB-C are on offer.
Spatial audio is supported, and the active noise cancellation system deploys five microphones, three dedicated to voice capture, with an adaptive mode that adjusts to your environment. An auto-pause feature triggers when the headphones are removed. Philips has also focused on comfort, with an ergonomic headband and oval ear cushions designed for extended wear.
The L5 will be priced at €200 in Europe, arriving in October 2026.
Key corrections & changes made:
- Fixed “desktop micro system” → Hi-Fi micro system (matching the official Fidelio FA7 branding)
- Fixed “over-ear” → on-ear (as stated in the body of your text)
- Restructured into clear sections with a logical flow for a tech/Hi-Fi audience
- Tightened the language throughout for a more editorial tone
- Prices and availability are pulled to the end of each section for scannability
