MOON by Simaudio 371 Marks the Beginning of the Brand’s New ‘Compass’ Line
High-end audio specialist MOON by Simaudio has unveiled its new 371 Network Player/Amplifier, the inaugural component in its new “Compass” collection. The Canadian company positions this model as the start of a fresh era in its product strategy, blending streaming, amplification, and phono functionality into one elegantly crafted unit.
The 371 is described as a comprehensive audio solution. It integrates a power amplifier, preamplifier, DAC, network streamer, and a phono pre-stage compatible with both MM and MC cartridges. The built-in streaming platform, MOON MiND 2, offers access to major services including Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, and Spotify, and supports features such as Roon, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, and Qobuz Connect. Bluetooth functionality is also included.
In terms of performance, the unit delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms (200 watts into 4 ohms), and spans a frequency response of 5 Hz to 100 kHz (+0/-3 dB). It is underpinned by two key proprietary technologies: MOON Hybrid Power (MHP) and MOON Distortion Cancelling Amplifier (MDCA), aimed at providing ultra-stable power delivery and low distortion, respectively. The device weighs approximately 9 kg.

Visually, the 371 retains the brand’s minimalist aesthetic while offering feature upgrades, including a 17-cm colour display for album art, track metadata, and system settings, and a new aluminum-cased CRM-4 remote control. Finish options include classic silver or black.
The MSRP in Europe has been listed at €6,800, which converts to approximately US $7,400 (based on current exchange rates). Regionally, U.S. pricing is indicated at US $6,500.
Etienne Gautier, Chief Commercial Officer of MOON, described the 371 as “the future of modern audio.” The company says the Compass collection is designed to sit just below its flagship North collection, offering advanced features and performance at a more accessible price tier.
