Nothing’s First Full-Size Headphones Leak Ahead of Official Launch
The Nothing Ear (1) headphones might start selling next month. Leaked images online show what they could look like, though we don’t know if this is the final design. The design is unique and could stand out among other headphones.
Pictures shared on Instagram by Nothing Fan Blog reveal the brand’s usual “see-through” style, with a cassette-like shape on a smooth metal base. The headphones may come in two color options: black and gray, or silver and white. Some people say the design reminds them of Dieter Rams’ work (a famous designer known for his simple, clean style).
Nothing CEO Carl Pei has announced that the Headphone 1 will launch on July 1, along with their new Phone 3 smartphone. The reveal will happen during a keynote event at SXSW in London.
If the leaked images are real, the Headphone 1 will keep Nothing’s unique, futuristic style. The photos show at least three buttons two on the left earcup and one on top. There’s also what looks like a 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning it might support wired listening like older headphones.
