FiiO SR11: Streaming music receiver for $100

The FiiO company showed on its website the New FiiO SR11 digital streamer, which can become a central network hub in a modern audio system. The new product provides the ability to stream music from popular services such as Tidal, Spotify, and Amazon Music. The SR11 supports Apple AirPlay, and the company is also working on introducing Roon support.

The SR11 transmits audio via digital coaxial or optical outputs – it has no analog outputs, so owners of older hi-fi systems without digital inputs will need a DAC.

To work on the network, the new product is equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet for additional reliability. In addition to optical and coaxial outputs, the device’s rear panel includes USB Type-A and USB-C ports, which support 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD256 files. The device’s status is controlled using a large LCD screen on the front panel, and the included remote control is used for control.

Price: FiiO SR11

In the US, the FiiO SR11 digital network streamer costs $95.
