Monitor Audio Expands Studio 89 Lineup with Premium White Finish
Monitor Audio has released its updated version of the Studio 89 speakers in a High-Gloss White finish. This new speaker blends 1980s retro style with today’s tech and design. Studio 89 was first launched in 2024 in a sleek, high-gloss black finish, and now it is available in white.
The updated version of the Studio 89 system is built according to the MTM (Mid-Tweeter-Mid) scheme with the MPD III tweeter in the center, surrounded by two 4.25-inch RDT III midrange/low-frequency speakers. Each of them is equipped with a diffuser made of C-CAM (aluminum-magnesium with a ceramic coating), reinforced with Nomex honeycomb material and a carbon base. A proprietary third-order crossover on audiophile-grade components is responsible for accurate signal transmission.
The case is highly rigid and inert thanks to the 18mm front panel, 15mm walls, and internal bracing system. HiVe II slotted ports are used to optimize airflow, located at the top and bottom.
The Studio 89 stand is now available in a white finish, featuring a laser-cut steel top plate, anodized aluminum post, and a cast base. The feet are adjustable and can be used on a variety of floor types, with a choice of chrome spikes or rubber tips. The Monitor Audio Studio 89 in High-Gloss White and matching stands will be available in July 2025.
The Monitor Audio Studio 89 rackmount speakers retail for $2,500 per pair, and if you want to buy it with its awesome-looking you have to pay an extra $625 per pair of rackmount speakers.
