Feliks Audio, a family-run company from Lubliniec, Poland, has released a limited edition of its flagship Feliks Envy amplifier for German retailer Headphone.Shop, called the Envy Meisterwerk. Meisterwerk is German for “masterpiece”, a title that is confirmed by the new product’s body, made of bright zebrawood or discreet ebony.

Feliks Audio has been making handcrafted headphone amplifiers for over a quarter of a century. This time, an optimized circuit with an output stage on Western Electric 300B tubes, first introduced in 1938, was chosen. Without replacing them, the amplifier will be able to work for up to 40,000 hours. In front of them are PsVane CV-181 Mk2 dual triodes selected with an upper tolerance of 5%.

As a result, Envy Meisterwerk is capable of delivering up to 5 W of power, and the frequency range with an unevenness of ±3 dB is declared within 8 Hz – 100 kHz. The input signal is fed to unbalanced RCA or balanced XLR connectors. The headphone output is a 6.3 mm stereo jack and XLR.
